I had taken a room on Paghadi ( tenancy) system in January 2009 for Rs 500000/- and monthly rent for the same was Rs 5000/-. Now the above mentioned premise is going for redevelopment and the concerned builder has offered me Rs 65,00,000/- for surrendering my tenancy rights. On the other hand i am interested in buying a flat somewhere else which costs around 1,10,00,000/-. So can i get deduction u/s 54 in Capital Gain.

You can claim exemption u/s 54F not under 54.
