Hi Is it necessary that for claiming of deduction u/s 54 investment in residential house should be in the same name who has transfered a residential house
Q: Does that Person can purchased a residential house in the same of his son?

The person should purchase the property in his name only and if his son is happy with him, son's name can also be included. . Purchasing the property in the single name of his son may deprive him from the available exemption. .
