I have never experienced such problem in my life, but recently when i send some signed acknowledgment.. only few reached CPC and other no record yet, and the real problem is all those acknowledgment were sent in same envelope.
So how can they receive some from the same post and some not.
this is the second such incident in last two months.
For Example: In a Envelope i had sent 14 signed acknowledgment , out of which i can see status of 8 as received by CPC and rest 6 not yet received by CPC.
And when i wrote about this to ask@incometaxindia.gov.in, as usual no reply from him.

it might have got lost in the sorting. All the akldgmnt are dumped at inward mail section then they are sorted out and sent to different processing team.
Anyways this is govt dept that too when the person who data they are handling is away and can not be verified, WHO CARES... WHO CAN HELD THEM RESPONSIBLE.
the thing is if akwlndment not received in 120 days even though due to mistake of postal dept of CPC employee ... it is assess who has to face the brunt.

Yours may be a stray case. Better resend the ITR V to meet the 120days limit.
The receipt and validation at CPC appears to be pretty organised, looking into the no. of ITR Vs they receive. Close to 1.4 crore ITR V are received and acknowledged.
