I passed ipcc in may2011.Somneone told me that ca+software programming like database construction etc is really a bright career.Someone said XBRL while some said its not a software but only a format.Someone told me learn from c,c++ and all like engineers as when given a work what takes more time for more people can be complated easily within a short time by writing a small code. Some said learn programs which enables a ca to prepare his own software. Some said there are more sophisticated programs than tally and to learn how to build such software. For that[if such an option is chosen]What should i learn?I mean what programs?

well, i believe u should not go and learn about languages to build the softwares, even you want to built softwares, u can well prepare the designs of softwares which engineers will design, i feel, u can lost the way of becoming a CA at the earliest attempt, if u go to learn languages, better go for same after clearing the CA
