If you have received conflicting information where the website shows that you failed in Group 1, but the list mailed by the institute to branches shows that you have cleared Group 1, here’s what you can do:
1. **Contact ICAI Directly**: Reach out to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) through their official contact channels. This could be via phone, email, or by visiting your local ICAI branch office. Explain your situation clearly and provide them with your details including your registration number, exam attempt details, and any reference numbers you have received regarding your results.
2. **Verification Request**: Request ICAI to verify your results and provide clarification. You can ask them to confirm whether you have indeed cleared Group 1 or if there has been any mistake in the information displayed on the website.
3. **Documentary Proof**: If you have received any formal communication from ICAI (such as an email or letter) stating that you have cleared Group 1, keep that document handy. This will be useful in case you need to provide proof or reference during your communication with ICAI.
4. **Follow Up Promptly**: Since exam results are time-sensitive and discrepancies need to be resolved promptly, follow up with ICAI at regular intervals until the issue is clarified and resolved to your satisfaction.
5. **Seek Guidance**: If you have access to any mentors, teachers, or seniors who have experience dealing with ICAI processes, seek their guidance as well. They may provide valuable insights or help you navigate the communication process with ICAI effectively.
6. **Be Patient**: Sometimes, administrative errors or delays can occur. Remain patient but persistent in your efforts to resolve the discrepancy.
By contacting ICAI directly and providing them with your details and the specific discrepancy you’ve identified, they should be able to assist you in understanding the situation and correcting any errors in the reporting of your exam results.
