Am wrking as an accountant in a jewellery (Tamilnadu),we have a corporate customer from Karnataka and their requirement is 1kg of gold coin. Can i invoice as VAT 1% or CST 2% ??? What is the difference of both ?

Sale with C-form, rate of CST or Vat rate for that good of seller's state, which ever is less will be applicable . So that in both case rate 1% applicable.( cst 1% for with 'C'form sale and CST 1% for without 'C' form sale ) but it is better to collect 'C' form.
