Branch office mubai vat registration


12 September 2013 my client is having a comapny ,registered address of which is in gujurat and having a branch office in mumbai.he wants to obtain a vat registration no. of maharashtra.can he do so and if yes what are the documents required for registration and procedure.pls do let me know.

Before answering your query my one suggestion is remove that ghost face attached to your name. Then coming to query visit the website of Maharashtra VAT Dept i.e. www.mahavat.gov.nic.in. In the home page itself click e-registration. Forms for registration will open up go on filling them. There are also instruction about the documents to be up loaded. Documents for ID PAN Card,Passport,DL,Aadhaar card etc. Two photographs,bank a/c copy,Rent agreement copy,partnership deed,etc.When your application is accepted by the system you get an acknowledgement no. Take that copy of ack and go to the concerned LVO of your area and meet their requirements if any,like paying regn fees etc....mjk
