Auditors remuneration in Notes to accounts

This query is : Resolved

13 August 2008 In case of change of Auditors during the year, what is the Auditors remuneration to be disclosed in Notes to accounts?
whether it should be the one paid to the Signing auditors only or including the fees to the retiring auditors also?
Thanx.

13 August 2008 You can include both the remuneration under the same heading.

14 August 2008 Is there a Legal Basis for this treatment?

14 August 2008 Auditor's remuneration in case of companies have to be disclosed in a specified manner like payment for which services (e.g., audit, company law matters etc..) It is not to be disclosed auditor wise. If there was change of auditors during the year, the total remuneration paid to different auditors have to be disclosed segregating between total fees paid for different services rendered.
