I am in the first year of articleship, I want a transfer of articleship from my current principal but he is not signing the form 109 but I am not interested to work under him. Can any one give me a solution for this? Can i get a transfer without getting his signature in form 109? what should i do now?

Signature of principal is required mandatorily.ICAI won't interfere ,even if this is your first year of articleship.Ask your seniors in your firm ,if they can intervene in the matter.

You only file Form-109 with Institute. Such Form will be signed by your principal.
No need to give any reason for transfer and no need to take prior approval for transfer.
You only submit such form and there after you can join with other principal any time thereafter.
Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be accepted.
In case of dispute between principal and articled assistant, the matter be settled amicably among the articled assistant and the principal concerned and the Institute shall not interfere in such cases.
