Articleship

This query is : Resolved

26 September 2014 I need to know as to what kind of a firm should i prefer for my articleship. a mediocre firm, which allows classes or a high profile firm with very high profile clients but do have very stringent rules in regard to coaching, they dont allow coaching at all. kindly reply ASAP. need to join

26 September 2014 Dear Kirti,

If you think you are capable enough to pass the exam without coaching then go for big firm (where there are no chances for coaching), otherwise go for mediocre firm.

But before joining any firm first inquire and make sure about the timing of office for articles and possibility of taking coaching along with articleship.

As some big firms are allowing coaching and not that strict about timings and even mediocre firms might be strict about the timings and chances may be remote for coaching in these firms.

All the best.

Thanks.

26 September 2014 Thanku sir, ur advice is really valuable and helpful,
the offic timing of mediocre firm is 9.30 to 7. And the big firm mostly have outstation audits, which rule out the possibility of me takin clases

26 September 2014 As per my view 9:30 to 7 is too much time, ideal time is 10 to 6 or 11 to 7 (or even less than this)

Any ways, in nut shell I would say join a firm in which you will get enough time for taking coaching and preparing for exams.

Thanks.

26 September 2014 Thnku so much, this is actually a tuf 1, 1 hav 2 extrme choices, m very confused
