The First auditor should be appointed within 1 months by the board of directors. If the board fails to exercise such power, than the company in general meeting may appoint the auditor. However the First auditor should be appointed before the first agm, even by the company in general meeting. The First AGM can be held within 18 months from the date of corporation or within 9 months from the end of first Financial year. So in your case, you can not be appointed as first auditor. However for subsequent periods it can be done.
