31 July 2009 is service tax liable when an indian exporter sells manufacture goods through an abroad agent who arrange to sell the consingnment . for that he charges commission from indian exporter

01 August 2009 Yes liable under reverse charge under sec 66A.. However earlier Not. 41/2007 allowed for exemption upto 10% Now 17/2009 upto 1% [ maybe increased ot 10% in some time]
