Stock are a combination shares, say 10stock or 20 stock of a company is jointed and turned in to stock the reason behind such accumulation is easy trading.
Difference between stock and shares Stocks are bunch of shares, but shares are individual. First shares are issued then they are converted in to stock, stock are made of shares and can not be directly issued. Stocks do not have nominal value as shares do.
