There is some concept of additional VAT in gujrat. Please send me the details of of the same. Let me know at what rate is is charged, on what it is applicable, etc.
I think its 2.5 % in addition to 12.5% VAT. The nomenclature i have used as additional VAT may be different.

NEWS DATE: Feb.26,2008 Additional VAT in gujrat:
The state will raise the value-added tax (VAT) rate by 1 percentage point to 2.5 percentage points. It will impose additional tax of one paisa on goods that are currently being taxed at the rate of four paise under VAT whereas there will be an addition of 2.5 paise for other taxable goods where VAT is currently 12.5 paise.
The state government has, however, spared petrol, diesel, declared and exempted goods from the burden of additional tax.
