I am appointed as tax auditor for the AY 2011-12 which was mistakenly not audited in time. But the assessee has already audited his books account for AY 2012-13.

In my view, you can conduct the audit under intimation to the previous tax auditor. If no such auditor exists you may continue the tax audit with even date
