10 July 2010 Dear friends
Commercial building rented as per agreement rent received will be shared by two brothers
(amount will be deposited to respective account of them)
But tenant issued single 16A tds certificate
in the name of only one brother.
what they have to do?
how to claim TDS?
They dont have tax liablity

11 July 2010 Well its a total default of the Deductor bcoz as per the agreement & also as per the payments they are making it to two Brothers.

Well i will suggest to ask the Deductor to Revise his TDS returns & issue the fresh certificates.
