My name is Pramod kumar. As i studied science in puc i am opting ca. I went to tuition for basic accountancy. I am very much interested in ca. Eventhough My worry is that can a non commerce student can crack ca in first attempt? Give me some tips for cpt and best reference books for it
I know so many friends who have completed CA within 3-4 years which is considered as reasonable duration. It is a fact that I have not seen any Student who has Science background and could not complete CA.
First Attempt success is not impossible. But do not shy if you can't make in the very 1st attempt. The name of the course is CA means Come Again. We can translate it in to Come A gain. You will gain in each attempt.
So, you need not to worry for being a non commerce student. I have also completed CA after completing my graduation in Science.
For books- you may purchase books published by S Chand Publication or better concentrate upon the Module provided by ICAI. With all the best
Firstly i would like to say please remove from you mind that your are from science background and CA course for you is difficult. CA-CPT is framed in such a manner that even a science background student can easily clear it. As for science student Accountancy may be difficult at the same time for commerce student Q.T may be difficult.
For books i suggest you to go through the ICAI material at once in detail. And along with that solve the modules provided by ICAI. I am sure by studying the material and solving modules you will be confident for writing exam. Along with this if you wish you need a book for reference then go for Paduka publications books, especially its model test papers book.
For tips i just want to say answer the question by using logic and not by using formula. And try to prepare your own notes.
