17 July 2017 Mr. A having Salary Income of INR 40 Lacs for FY 2016-17. He purchased second Home of INR 90 Lacs in FY 2016-17. TDS deducted and deposited u/s 194 IA. Is TDS deduction details and information about Property purchase to be shown in ITR ?
In ITR -1 there is no such details asked, so whether ITR 2 is to be filed ?

17 July 2017 you are not required to give any information regarding purchase of property you are just required to fill detail of TDS deducted on purchase of proerty in coloumn no. 19TDS2 on second sheet and since your total income is less than Rs. 50 lakhs (which seems from your query) you can file ITR-1

17 July 2017 Here, Mr. A is TDS Deductor and not Deductee, while in 19 TDS 2 of Second Sheet - Disclosure of TDS Receivable to be shown.

17 July 2017 in any ITR there is no requirement to show detail of TDS deducted or property purchase
