This order grants an extension of time for companies to hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the financial year ending 31 March 2020.

All companies, other than the first AGM, within the jurisdiction of the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Pune, that are unable to hold their AGM for the financial year ended 31 March 2020 by the due date are eligible.

The extension is for a period of three months from the original due date by which the AGM ought to have been held.

No, companies do not need to file any application or prescribed Form GNL-1 to seek this extension.

This order also covers all pending applications filed in Form No. GNL-1 for the extension of AGM for the financial year ended 31 March 2020 that are yet to be approved. Approval for extension up to 3 months will be deemed granted.
