Common Causes for rejection of DIN applications

Last updated: 04 June 2007

MCA Notification Before you fill-in application for DIN Please remember following common causes of REJECTIONS * Mismatch in the Name and Father's Name in DIN form with the ID (Identity) proof enclosed. The Name of the applicant should exactly match with the Name given in the documentary proofs. Any mismatch in Name, including spelling mistake, would lead to rejection of application. * If prefixes like Mr. / Ms. / Kumari / Shri or Late etc. are used in the Name and Father's name fields. * If the residence proofs like: Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill, Utility Bill submitted are older than 2 months of submitting the application for verification OR in the name of some other person, for example father or spouse – Not Acceptable. * If the stamp of the attesting authority does not match clearly indicate the Name, Designation and Membership Number of the attesting authority – It should be stamped, not be handwritten. * Passport / Driving License / Identity proofs attached should be valid and not expired proofs. It is compulsory to provide the validity of the document else it will not be accepted. Regards, CA P R Parmar
