The respondent, by a letter dated November 10, 2020 responded to the application filed by the appellant. The appellant filed an appeal dated November 10, 2020 against the said response dated November 10, 2020. I have carefully considered the application, the response and the appeal and find that the matter can be decided based on the material available on record.
2. Queries in the application –The appellant, vide his application dated October 23, 2020 sought the following information:
1. The latest data for allowances and benefits availed by officers under various heads for officers from grade A to highest grade.
2. Monthly gross salary of officers at different grades
3. Monthly cost to company at different grades.
3. The respondent, in response to the queries, informed that the details of the monthly pay and allowances were available on the SEBI website. The respondent also provided the link for accessing the same on the SEBI website.
4. Ground of appeal- The appellant has filed the appeal on the ground that incomplete, misleading or false information was provided by the respondent. The appellant, in his appeal, has inter alia submitted that he has not been provided with the requested information.
5. I note that the respondent, in response to the queries, provided the link to SEBI website for accessing the relevant disclosures with respect to pay and allowances. I have perused the queries and the response, and I find that the respondent has adequately addressed the queries by guiding the appellant to access the requisite disclosures made by SEBI with respect to pay and allowances, which is available in public domain. I do not find any deficiency in the respondent's response to the appellant's queries.
