Assistant Audit Manager

Requirements

Experience in tax audits, Statutory audits, GST audits & ITR filing for all other assessee's
Excel and Powerpoint Knowledge is a must
Analytical & Reasoning skills
Audit programme Designing
Knowledge on Engagement Management is must
Should have knowledge of multiple sector

Duties and responsibilities

Independently handle assigned multiple Audit engagements with minimal intervention
Assist in the definition of project objectives, scope, organization, timelines, and overall
approach
Plan and facilitate resource allocation of department for smooth execution of audit engagements
Facilitate resolution of issues arising during engagements
Draft and put in place sustenance and audit programs and measure and report to Management
Regularly undertake research into industry sector, markets and competitors of clients
Providing objective strategic advice to the client
Staying updated with the Auditing world and always be on the lookout for best practices and new consulting practices
Staying alert and self-motivated to develop new business opportunities for the company
Empower the Jr Audit / Analyst Team to accomplish above responsibilities in their respective engagements
Coordinate with the management team at client side and facilitate the audit team to execute the audit smoothly as per scope. Review all audits and assist in development of all new methods of audit and reporting.
Ensure effective control and adoption of correction steps by the client on / after audit engagement.
Identify engagement and implement improvement initiatives using methodologies used in industry.
Maintain engagement performance measures on a regular basis to report to leadership on engagement status as required

Quantitative Data Analysis aptitude: enjoys working with numeric data, can synthesize quantitative data to draw business conclusions, reporting and presentation as per need.
