Position Overview:
As an Accountant at My Storage Space, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and managing various financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards im ZoHo Books
Manage the general ledger and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Vendor Payments:
Process and oversee timely and accurate vendor payments.
Maintain relationships with vendors and address any payment-related inquiries.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations- GST, TDS & Income Tax
Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and update internal processes accordingly.
RoC (Registrar of Companies) Compliance:
Ensure timely filing of necessary documents with the RoC.
Stay abreast of changes in RoC regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
Financial Reporting:
Generate financial reports for management review, providing insights and recommendations as necessary.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Audit Support:
Coordinate and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
Collaborate with auditors to address any queries or concerns.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Work closely with other departments to gather financial information for analysis.
Accounts Receivables:
Track & send payment reminders to clients on time
Recover outstanding dues from defaulters and take necessary measures
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Familiarity with Indian tax laws and RoC regulations.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
