AM (Finance) will be responsible for preparation of P&L and cash flow forecast, driving improvement in margin and processes/ internal controls, month end closing activities, variance analysis etc. This would require application of the accounting principles, sound aptitude to understand the business model and great interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily, month end, quarter end and year end accounting, including general ledger entries and sub ledger entries in a manner supporting a multi-currency system in compliance with the accounting standards
• Perform month end procedures, closure of books on time including MIS and other reports
• Maintain various Balance sheet reconciliations/schedules like Balance prepayments, accrual, deferred and unbilled revenue, Fixed Assets etc.
• Liaising with Off-shore Global finance team for closure of books and MIS.
• Preparation of monthly rolling forecast, P&L, balance sheet
• Manage cash flow planning, Banking and Treasury operations.
• Finalization of Financials Statements Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss , Variance Analysis.
• Liaising with auditors and Handle statutory audits, Tax audits, Internal Audits and any audit/due diligence conducted by Investors.
• Handle tax compliance (both Direct and Indirect) which will cover Liaising with tax authorities and govt bodies, and/or external consultants, filing of returns, payment, litigation etc.
• Updated working knowledge of tax laws and regulations including new filing practices, deadlines, company-specific information etc.
• Handle statutory Compliances for the Company, including Companies Act, FEMA, Shops &
Establishment, Professional Tax, etc.
• Work with Head - Finance on building strong finance team in the company
• Set up Internal Financial Controls for the company and ensure compliance for the same.
• Identify cost savings, participate in process improvements/innovation to create efficiency, increase forecast/budget accuracy and reporting
• Set up well defined and documented processes; prepare/update standard operating procedures, process maps across entities
• Driving improvement in margin/ efficiency and processes/ internal controls by providing visibility of data through dashboards/ reports.
• Collaborate with various functions to understand and document forecast variances, ad-hoc reporting to support business decisions providing guidance on level of risk and opportunities
• Liaising with auditors for providing the details and satisfactory resolution of queries
• Experience of working in ERP (MS Navision/ Oracle NetSuite etc.)
