NAMASTEA TO ALL,

THIS IS MOORTHY From Vizag. One Customer purchased a samsung TV on finance support. At that time he has informed to showroom executives ie he wants GST bill on his GSTN orally they agreed also. When get TV next day they sent a delivery challan and formal bill. He has verified and informed over mail ID for arrange bill with GSTN mentioned.

The showroom people said that ' it is financial bill so we can't give GST Number mentioned bill, if you can ask any authorities for clarification'

please suggest and guide me whether it is wrong or not and what's the next action we have to go

If showroom is registered under GST , then they must issue GST tax invoice , mentioning all details in the Invoice as per rule 46 of the CGST rule 2017 , wherein GSTN number of the supplier and receipent is mandatory .
