Among metro cities  Bombay   tops in business and work experience. Yes, accomodation is a slight problem. But then  new emerging suburbs  offer affordable housing comparable to any other low cost cities /towns.Now with real estate prices falling,  one should look at Bombay .

Bombay is really a fast-paced  life. This is no place of  lazy laid-back  people.One needs to be up on toes all the time  in order to catch up with speed , or else risk being left behind !

Once you get used to life here, you will never be able to like any other place, such is the addiction here ! This is a city where people live happy and content - Slum dogs or millionaire !

Best part is  that one can lead a life of total anonimity here- whether you are a celebrity, or a non-entity.No one care  about who you are - you can live a life of your own

My opening line answers  your querry. and I wanted to tell you more about the City of Mumbai  in general  . One should not look at only  work . We need to strike a work-life balance in  whatever you profession  we are. For this ,  the place we live also counts to a great extent.

As I said  earlier,  the suburbs of Mumbai,  you can find affordable housing. Mumbai is city of dreams, for people who dream big, but at the same time  work hard to realise   your dream. There is so much scope  here to do any business or profession. Initial years will be hard strugle such as live in the suburbs and commute  to work in crowded trains , though things are improving now  with Govt investing in Public transport . Mumbai is certianly  not for the weak hearted. and laid back  people in their  comfort  zone., but  for people  who  are not afraid of failure and work relentlessly, with patience and perseverance.The experience  one gains here in any sector  is immense. CAs have a flourishing practice as Bombay is  the Financial Capital of India and  emerging as a global hub for trade and commerce .

I suggest you make a visit  to  feel the pulse of the city yourself, before making up your mind to move in here.
