please visit the site of rajasthan commercial taxes and refer scheduleVI in VAT ACT for item wise rates .......
The state government has increased the rate of tax on sales of all goods falling in Schedule IV, i.e., the goods for which rate of tax has been prescribed specifically 4% earlier to 5% with immediate effect, .i.e., w.e.f. 09.03.2010. In other words the goods which were taxable @ 4% earlier has become taxable @ 5%. ( Notification E.12(22)FD/Tax/10-83).
