Urgent: help regarding registration for icwai.

I am a student of CS executive programme appearing for my exams in June 2012. I plan on registering for CWA for the exams to be held in December 2012. However, i would not be starting my cs internship until June next year. How do i manage internship of both CS as well as CWA. As per the training rules of ICWAI, a student has to claim exemption within 45 days of registration. I shall not be employed within the said period and i have no prior work experience. Can i claim for exemption from CWA after commencing my CS internship. If not, could anybody please suggest me the best time to register for CWA. Your reply would be of great help and enable me to plan my career systematically. Awaiting reply as soon as possible. Thank you.

Firstly you have to decide ur priority whether you are aligned towards CS or CWA. if u are saying that we have to apply within 45 days then you have no option but register for CWA after u start ur CS articleship. The more u delay ur CS internship ur CWA will get postponed. Better to start ur articleshop onxe ur CS executive results r out

As per students Faqs....CS qualified, get exemption from appearing exams for few subjects. but not sure..whether CS internship is allowed to claim exemption from cwa training..

and if you want to claim 3yrs exemption, you need to have 3 yrs work experience, in recognised areas and in recognised organisations..,

Thank you for your valuable replies. Also the training FAQs of the institute also say that: "a student who is already employed but does not have full years experience at the time of registration but intends to be employed with the present or future employer, but would meet the eligibility conditions as per training scheme of the institute, will be granted exemption on completion of the required period of 3 years. However, students who claim exemption need to apply within 45 days of their registration with institute as student". Does this mean if I take up a job as per the requirements of the institute and notify the same to the institute, I shall be granted exemption on completion of 3 years? Please guide me on how to manage my training for both. Ashwin sir, I was initially inclined towards CS but now I wish to do CWA as well without giving up on CS. However I'm unable to decide on my approach due to the clashing of the training periods.
