Tuition income which category??

My mother gives home tuitons and she manages to earn 15000 p.m through the same. Now while filing tax returns  which ITR form should be filed and the income generated is through self employment. So naturally she wont come under salaried class. So under what category does she file the returns for the same. Is the same income slab for salaried class applicable for selfemployed people?

It would come under the head PGBP.

Actually its not a profession that is she carrying out and thus it would hold good if you show it under other sources
ITR 2 to be filed with tuition income shown under the head income from other sources.
Actually it's covered under Professional Service. So she have to choose ITR - 4. & slab rates applicable as per individuals - Women.
It would come under other sources....& yes same slab rate is applicable as of individual women
It will come under other sources. WOMEN INCOME TAX SLAB APPLICABLE. ITR 2 to file.
Your mother give tuition fee annual 180000 jabki income tax liability jo banti h vo 250000 se upar ki banti h
It will be considered as income from other source & will be filed in ITR2.
It is income from other sources
Other source. Itr 2
Tuition fee is taxable under head Income from other sources.
Its income from pgbp so file itr 4
You have both option to show your mother income under other sources or PGBP. Generally some pepole those tution income is very high they show their income under PGBP and adjusted expenses incurred. But in case their is no problm if you show the income under Other Sources.
Ofcourse it prevail under PGBP. But if conducting tution is not your oprational then it will be charged under other sourse.
