I am doing the work of Govt department and I gave an invoice to sept month and should be deducted TDS if I got it in the payment of oct month

If you are raising Invoice of your services provided to Department then Department will deduct TDS of Income Tax, and if department comes under GSTR 7 & value of supply exceeds 2.5 lacs then department will liable to deduct 2% TDS of GST also.
