What is the Password to open TDS Default File(Zip file) which are downloaded from Traces Site

Passwords list :
For Form16/16A - TAN
For NSDL Conso File - TAN_request number
For Defaults (Justification Report) - No Password required.

Harish,

you said no password was required for justification report, but while extracting the justification report ( Zip file) it is asking password .

password is your token number ( acknoledgment number ) which you received at the timing of tds return filling of particular qtr

Try pan no (in small letters)and dateof birth/date of incorporation. Eg:PAN is ABCDP3563R date of birth is 04/09/1988 Your password could be abcdp3563r04091988 If this does not work then call at CPC for help

Try pan no (in small letters)and dateof birth/date of incorporation.
Eg:PAN is ABCDP3563R
date of birth is 04/09/1988

Your password could be abcdp3563r04091988

If this does not work then call at CPC for help

try with the registration number you received during the TAN registration for the 1st time with NSDL i think it will be alpha numerical number

If it doesn't open through PAN no. & DOB.

Then try only with DOB

For Eg: If ur DOB is 10/01/2013 then type 10012013

See to it that there are no space in between this nos

it is the token of the REGULAR RETURN filed. You must be trying the token no. of the revised return.

Consolidated Files:- TAN No._Request Number

Online 26AS:- DOB

Form 16/16A:- TAN

Justification File:- Ack No./ Token No.

The Password to open TDS Justification Report (Defaults-Zip file) downloaded from Traces Site is Token No. of Regular (original) TDS statement filed for the respective period.
