Hello, our company deducts TDS on payment of rent on immovable property (194I) from a person as it exceeds Rs.180000 during the year.
however, to the same person referred to above, we make payment under contract, but the total amount doesn't exceed 1 lakh during the year.
so, should i deduct tax under 194C also since i am deducting under 194I from the same person?
please advice with section reference
No where in the act there is declared about clubbing of the sections of TDS deduction or aggregating threshold limits!!
