Please tell me what is the rate at which TDS should be deducted from Building Rent for the payments made by companies.
Whether it is 20.60% or 22.60% or any other rates

u/s 194 I following amount is to be deducted:
In case of individual / HUF-15% plus cess thereon (surcharge will be there if total amount exceeds Rs. 10lacs)
In case of other deductees-20% plus cess thereon (surcharge wil be there in case of company/ firm if total amount exceeds 1 crore)
