in both the cases tds under section 194C will be deducted @ 1% for individual/huf or 2% in other cases.

Limit is 75000 / annum or 30000 in single transaction.

pl. explain the type of computer services.
for amc type of service it will be 2 % u/s 194c but for amc of computer software type of service it will be 10 % u/s 194j.

@ kaushik.... yes you are correct. however for amc on computer software also you can deduct u/s 194c. there is no problem because the basic nature here is the annual contract whether for computer or software maintenance.
