In my openion Half of the Rules of ICAI are against their Students.

And about the matter of conveyence most of c.a do not reimburse conyence and some reimburse only in case of student visit to client place only.

What about dat money student spend on travelling from home to office and office to home.

that cost is almost more than stipend allowaed.

First we have to accept the basic difference of CS/ CA/ ICWA with MBBS/ Engineering/ MBA/ Research Fellow (NET/ SLATE Qualified). In case of CA/ ICWAI/ CS the entry is very easy and passing the final is tough but in case of the others it is reverse. Hence being a student of CS/ CA/ ICWA inter does not prove any credibility( certainly the inter passed students have already proved some credibility) and it is proved only after Final. On the other hand getting chance in Medical/ Engg/ MBA itself proves the credentiality of the student. Hence this difference in stipend. Once a candidate is CS/ CA/ ICWA qualified he/ she will get the same value as his Doctor/ Engineer/ MBA friend. In case of JRF etc - you cant compare at all a student of CA/ CS/ ICWA with a JRF candidate who has already obtained Masters degree and cracked one of the toughest entrance exam. Hence their stipend is bound to be much more than CA/ CS/ ICWA Student.

However I fully agree that present CA Article stipend is too little and should be increased to certain level (but please dont compare with JRF candidate). ICAI should change its training structure and make it similar in line with ICSI training. My experience shows that CS trainiees get some more stipend than CA Articles.
