Dear All,

Poor memory, Lack of concentration, Excessive Exam stress or zero study is a common study related problems of students. Let me share some of general remedies/suggestions (Astrological) to tackle these issues. These suggestions are not new and unique but you’ll find them quite effective.

1.  My mom used to tell me that while studying, we should face east direction as east direction is considered as positive and fortunate direction.

2.  Further you can easily figure out that East is considered as the most preferable direction for sleeping so the head should face east while sleeping. Needless to say that if one sleeps well; he’ll be fresh for studies the next day.

3.  Avoid listening loud music especially when you are studying. Loud music creates distraction and stress and excessive use of headphones cause hearing loss and distraction.

4.  Another remedy for good memory would be drinking juice of Tulsi leaves mixed with Mishri every morning. This is a great homemade solution which increases memory. But one should remember that Tulsi is hot in effect so be careful while taking the same.

Rest we all know that there is no short cut to success. Just keep your vision clear and work in the direction of your goal and success will definitely follow you.

BOOKMARKED !

I would like to add some more ways to increase memory and handle studies pressure.

Do Shirshasana- where you make your body in a topsyturvy position, taking whole body weight on your head and your elbows- this increases equilibrium of mind, all disturbances to the mind will be reduced, anxiety level will drastically reduce, One can experience the change by trying only once or twice.

Try japa meditation where one chants vedic mantra, Mantra is made up of two words Man and tra, where man is our mind and tra means to liberate from anxiety, pressure, frustration. For the same one may try a powerful mantra 'Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare' 108 times.

I am practicing both.

Thanks Mayank for the value addition...It was useful.

Apart from the points mentioned above please consider and explore following questions/observations related to examination:

a.)Make your mind clear about self study or join coaching classes in the beginning itself.

b.)Work out on your writing and presentation skills as the same is very important in professional exams.

c.)Always use or write sections and case laws to impress the examiner.

d.)Do not change your notes again and again and use exam oriented notes from the start.

e.)Please go through exam oriented suggestions and tips available in Caclubindia. These tips can be very useful for your preparation.

f.)As per my understanding you should follow a specific strategy regarding How to start your exam preparation?

g.)Revision is the real key to success so focus and prepare a strategy for Quick Revision of entire course.

h.) Do not put yourself under high Exam Stress as undesired exam stress may adversely affect your exam preparation and your ability to focus on examination.

Hi all,

I just like to share my experinace of study.

Through out the day I use to study. And in the evening I use to go for walk. While walking I use to recall in my memory and discuss in my self and debate with my self. After that If I get any doubt I use to refer the books. And after wake up from sleep again I use to go for walking and again I use to do the same.

I have passed the CA in 2006. But still I can rember all well. I belive this way one can improve the memory power.

Really this helpe my a lot. Becasue in B.com I secured 2nd class marks. But In CA I got above 60% makrs in all subjects.

Thanks

Sureshs Sambu
