Thanx Krishna ! By the way what do u mean by "...can understand standard English.." I have read a lot ranging from Conan Doyle to Bernard Shaw . Hope Singhania's English is not on a higher plane than their's !!
It wud be extremely useful if u can be specific abt their relative strengths/weaknesses.

Hi
I prefer singhania because it has standard and correct usage of english, which is required in exams. As u have mentiioned those author names, tat standard of english is sufficient to read Singhania. And this book has got lots of illustrations to do..Each section is explained by point-wise which is easy to understand and remember..If you are able to be perfect abt the theory and practicals given in Singhania book, then undoubtedly there are chances that you can score atleast 75 above..Hope this will suffice your query..All d best..

Dear Friend,
For practical problems Singhania is best....But for Income Tax theory Girish Ahuja is must.
I would advise you to buy both or buy only Singhania and borrow Ahuja from your friend to prepare theory notes.
All the Best
