A&Co is the statutory auditors of X ltd for FY 2009-10 and Z&co is the Tax auditors of AY 2010-11
if x ltd prepares the balance sheet as on 31-3-10 in september 2009, can Z&co can sign the Balncesheet along with 3CD?

you have mention that it is X ltd, which means it is a company & in that case auditor is appointed in AGM by shareholders which results in your case only & only A& Co.'s auditor can sigh balance sheet for FY2009-10. Z& Co. doesnot have any authority in this case . He can sign only tax audit report.
