A person has alrady taken registration of service tax for his proprietory firm providing consultancy services. Now, he is starting an additional business ,i.e., hotel business from other premises. Accounting of both the businesses are done separately, also registration from nagar nigam is also separately taken. Now, my query is that can he take separate service tax registration for additional hotel business or he will have to ammend his service tax registration?

Sir,
In this regard if you are having more than one unit with same name, same proprietor, partner or company then no need separate registration in this regard you can amend only registration with new services.
