No services provided from J&K are not liable for ST as the sdame are excluded.

But the agency from Other states in India renders services to Jammu &Kashmir then it is laible to service tax .kindly put your views on the same

Yes, service tax is applicable if service is provided from J & K.
But if service is received in J & K then service tax is not applicable.

Dear Member,
The service tax is on Consumption of services basis. If the services are consumed in the state of J & K, then it will not be taxable service.

our Company appointed agent (foreigner) for installation of our exported Machines abroad and we are paying service Charges in FEE. Is service Tax applicable.

no serviec tax is not applicable in case the services are provided in J&K the state is important the services should be provided in that state . The location of the service provider is not importane the important thing is that the services should be provided in the state of Jammu & Kashmir
