Yes, it is taxable. Renting of immovable proverty has been covered by declared services.

Services by way of renting of residential dwelling for use as residence is covered in negative list.
Renting for other than residential dwelling attracts service Tax

Residential dwelling is covered in negative list whereas other than items covered in negative list is covered under declared services.
