Yet I haven't heard any thing about any bank. At least in my circle.

I have completed 2 years cooling period yet not getting any news.

No one has received any call for consent or allotment letter if they are continually getting it.

Normally  Non continuing auditors are short listed first  and contacted over phone before sending e-mails  -  Email are sent only to those consenting over phone  - it takes  normally not less than one day  

I am from Madurai, Tamilnadu, after completion of 4years period Canara Bank. Here no one got  any confirmation from the Banks ?

Corporation Bank yesterday sent emails to the continuing branch auditors to confrim the consent.

Oriental Bank of Commerce announced that M/s. A. Bafna & Co. Chartered Accountants and M/s. Lunawat & Co. Chartered Accountants have been appointed as Statutory Central Auditors of the Bank in place of M/s. Jain Kapila & Associates Chartered Accountants and M/s. R.S. Sipayya & Co. Chartered Accountants for FY 2014-15.

I am now  getting calls from Bank of  Baroda  and another call from a  Mumbai based bank  I could not attend  both  ( late in the evenining )

IOB made calls yesterday to auditors seeking consent.

Very  Glad to note that  S.S.G  based at  Ludhiana has been able to get offer from Andhra Bank 

There are around  158  firms  under category IV  and maximum of  30 -35  get  Branch Audit   in Ludhiana
