ICAI is an autonomous body and promises to produce Real Professionals so called CA 's some of whom who are not even aware how they have become CA!!! Anyways with all such big promises made by Our INSTITUTE-Our Temple. isnt it shameful that we receive such cold and rude behaviour from the Staffs of the ICAI as if we students have done some big fault by asking them questions. I am really hurt by their behaviour and so I raise such a question else I have nothing against our Respected Institute.I can understand they have to answer the same question may be 500 times a day or even more than that but then we are students who are always having queries coz we are not getting anything free from Institute, we have to pay for everything we do, so is it not their duty to keep this in mind and be a little polite to us?

Rude Behaviour with CA students
it always happens...when they answer us, they talk as if they are doing us a favor...
Complain this to Secretary & President Of ICAI....

It may not b the same case in all branches I do agree but in Eastern Region specially in the Kolkata Branch I have come across such behaviour many times. Definately there are good people too...
This rude behaviour starts in Southern Region Chennai branch...I Love to hear Northern region response. Whenever I had doubt I call Northern region even I belong to south region

what an idea sirj.........!!!!!
I just hope this attitude towards students changes soon. It is not that I want to criticise but just that it is a request to those staff that we students have to struggle so much for becoming CA, Please consider us as a part of Institute. After all it takes just a smile to make someone happy.
Why don't you think of become a CA quick and teach those receptionists a lesson by giving a taste of their medicine.. See that students during that time are treated well..
My chapter people are nice though..
hmmmmmm not in all cases they r rude wel in ma case they alwez behaved like professionals specially in article section.......
This is what we see in all the branches of icai.........having same feeling yaar.
I had such experience while i went to chapter for getting Suggested answers. they behave like illiterates as they don't know how to respect other people
I am getting excellent services from Chennai Regional Office ever since i rejoined CA course on 2008. in chennai BOS one guy Mr. Chandran whose service need special mention here..
don't be too harsh with our institute, which is at par with any standards.
i have friends who are doing ICWAI, and understood that our institute is far far better,
boss, in India not doing their duties they simply go to office to show their faces to superiors to that they have come and to ensure they are entitled to get salary (Government publice dealing offices) and ICAI is no different from other government offices.
One example is of conversion of course from Old to New. Student may get Brain Hemerage due to tension of Conversion, material, syllabus, exams and so on. But institue is Fussy. they have declared wait for further announcement and kept mum. should they not have come out with the declareation even before the declaration of result.
Why so much of Kiosk??? If top officials are doing like this what else you can expect from Staff.
