I have filed the income tax return for the assess ment year 2009-2010 manually and as per that the refund amount due was Rs. 12000 (approx) but the refund i got was only Rs. 3000. I went to the assessing officer and he told me that the balance TDS was not deposited by the deductor but after viewing the 26AS the said amount was deposited.
I want to know whether i can revise that return now and e file the return again?

meet ITO once again with 26AS copy , after discussion file rectification u/s 154

Rectification u/s 154 can be made only if its within d time period mentioned therein so accordingly chk Sec 154.
