REGISTERATION OF PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM NAME

Its depend on your product if its cover excise , service tax, sales tax than you have to register in all of this taxes.

BUT I WANT TO REGISTER ONLY THE NAME OF THE FIRM.

 PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM NAME is not to register just open a current account on firm’s name and file your return at the time.

u have to produce "certificate of enlistment" from local municipal body ( trade licence) for this purpose. 

There are many state govt. dept. which have control over your activities. You can register your proprietory concern with them.

1. Shop regn.

2. Weights & measures.

3. Health dept. - for medicine related & food products.

4. Tel. bill.

5. Elect. bill

6. Fire protection , pollution control.

7. Membership of your trade Association.

except shop & establishment, every registration as refered by you will ask for "certificate of enslistment" to link the trade name with personal applying.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO REGISTER A PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM IN DELHI OR OTHER STATES IN INDIA AS WELL AS PARTNERSHIP FIRM?

I want to start an online business for that i dont need any shop. i just need a laptop can i get "certificate of enlistment" for that  too.....
