Refund delayed

I received my Intimation Order on 27 July 2022. My bank nominated for the refund is already validated.

It is about a month, and I haven't received my refund yet.

Is this delay normal, even with the improvised new portal which the IT Department claims as very efficient?

I have also same issue not myself but in more than 3 case intimation order recd but refund not received

Count me also and my brother also.....27/7/22 intimation...all banks validated and one bank nomminated....still no traces of refund
You may raise greavance on portal regarding non receipt of refund if 15 days already passed

Raised several grivence.....all closed without giving refund..copy paste answer....please Waite....& Grivences closed.     Now no option but to Waite and waite

Yes than we have to wait till IT Dept issue rrfund no other option left

We can all wait for a month or two and if nothing happens, we could lodge a formal complaint with the 'PGPORTAL' , a Government Public Grievance Addressal System - this is very effective and a result-oriented system:

The pity is that we are paid the interest rate for the delay in refunding only up till the date of the "Intimation Order" - thus the "smart" IT gains money from the prompt Taxpayers in two ways - one by holding the accumulated TDS over the four quarters of the FY but by also delaying the Refund, as they please, notwithstanding their boastful claim about a new efficient IT Portal!

I have lodged complain for my errors in AY 21/22 on CPGRAMS.....all closed without valid solution raised appeal on CPGRAMS....closed without valid solution

In new portal mechanism has been developed to pre validate bank Account before issuing refund to avoid Re issue of Refund complain last year merger of PSU bank happened moreover System also verify PAN linkage with bank Account too.So one should again check that their Bank Account are pre validated or not if Pre validated than we have no option rather than to wait

Also check prevalidation  of bank work list for pending action outstanding demand and e proceeding.....if all is ok....simply waite no other option

I also received the intimation on 27/7/22 but got the refund of Rs.4000+ credited on 26/8/22. But my friend got the intimation on 6/8/22 and refund credited on 21/8/22 in 15 days, that too a sum of Rs.56000. The System selects in a particular sequence probably. So be patient and  you can wait for another 10 days...

In the meantime, please ensure that your Bank a/c is validated and nominated for refund.

You should check your emails in SPAM Folder as sometimes any clarification from ITO/CPC will go there.

Again, open "Pending Action" menu in IT Portal and check in 'Work list" and ensure "There is  no item in worklist for action"/information".

Lastly, please check your Bank account daily and check if the credit has come. This may sound foolish but sometimes the email and sms might have been missed but bank a/c would have been credited. (This happened to me once).

Finally Dont forget to confirm the receipt of credit in this CAclub forum for the benefit and knowledge of other members.

I am regularly checking NSDL refund but till date  shows refund not send by AO ( till 28/8/22).    So waiting 

From my experience, tin-nsdl shows refund details only after our Bank a/c is credited! I am given to understand that SBI sends the 'Credits' in batches to individual accounts. You have to wait.
