Hi, I am writting my CA IPC in May 2015 ( both groups), and for preparation purpose, i follow these below mention books ,

Acct., Cost, FM , Advanced Acct.--- Only from Tulsian and Tax --- Ahuja & Gupta

Is that correct approch for exam preparation under Self Study. If you make any recomondation plz. suggest that.

hi bro..ur r refering pc tulsian for cost fm....this is my week subject ..my concepts are not clear ....i had earlier also posted in forum regarding this as a query ..many of them suggestd this book only....my ques is do this book really explain concepts in detail with examples......is it right??? plzzz help me with issu...i losse my attempt just because of cost fm ......shal i purchase this book???

I dont think ignoring institute material is at all a good idea, specially cost fm. Please dont repeat the mistake which I did. Tulsiyan is very voluminous. It would be very difficult to revise. I passed ipcc with self study. Book s I used- 1. Accounts and adv acc- Hanif Mukherjee and module, pm, 4 attempts rtp. 2. Law- only paduka 3. Audit- friend coaching notes and pm 4. Cost fm- did crash course after failing twice. Notes, module, pm 5. Tax- ahuja Gupta 6. Itsm- only pm. All the best.

brother here i am listing u the best refrence book for ca ipc group 1 and group 2 for doing self study group 1 accounts pc tulsian cost and fm pc tulsian law munish bhandari tax ajay jain group 2 advance accounts pc tuslsian auditing surbi bansal it and sm dinesh madan .brother rember pc tulsian book is good for self study but it takes a lot of time and labour. i prefer u plz take a crash course for cost and fm .i am also preparing for ca ipc may 2015 .if any body have any suggestion for me it is warmly welcome
