02 February 2012one of my client purchased exciseable good from a manufacturer and export good and claimed excise benefit Aganist ARE 1.however company do not paid the excise duty on purchase of good in one of the purchase invoice raised by manufacturer . can company claim rebate benefit in case of such invoice

what is C.T.3 form its meaning and procedure when it is applicable way of following method

Rebate is not possible when duty is not paid, however DEPB may be claimed, please check the applicability of DEPB on your items.

CT-3 is a document issued from the bond authority to EOU/SEPZ buyers for procurement of duty free goods from DTA.
the manufacturer has to maintain formalities of ARE-1/ARE-2 as the case may be, for claiming exemption for duty free clearance.
