Purchased immovable property with cash

@ kapadia even after appraised of the consequences of receiving consideration in cash, most of the sellers insists cash payments only. In my own Case, even after literally showing the concerned section, the seller insisted me to pay consideration in cash stating that his AUDITOR will take care of the consequences, if any.. What to do with these kind of sellers?

One of my clients purchased agriculture land in 2004 in cash. Amount was more than 1 crore. They paid total in cash. Now after 16 yrs seller has done civil suit and said I have not received a single penny. 

How to prove that cash was given?
