Dear Vikash i have went thru this phase. There is no sure shot formulae for this but i would like to share my experience.
I joined a CA Firm as an employee for two years. That changed my life. I was not even aware what Practice is after clearing my finals but that job gave me a tremendous confidence and exposure.I realised how to start with a client the steps of filing, starting a file, registration all basics. I did not gained everything but i gained what is required as a beginner. I kept updating myself with whatever clients handled on case to case to basis.
READING is the best thing you can do to gain confidence. In practise it works wonders when you are able to clarify basics also give opinions based on case studies.
In case you are not in a mood for a job i would really suggest you just start practice. Take each case head on there are so many portals and the biggest caclubindia where you can get your concepts cleared or ask for guidance. If practise is long term goal than sooner the better or else you will loose todays opputurnity of those clients who may be interested in coming to you.
Last but not the least create a bond with your clients which they will cherish apart from your service to them.
